IdeZ Protease

Immunoglobulin G-degrading Enzyme | Recombinant, E. coli-expressed

Product Description

IdeZ Protease is a protease derived from Streptococcus equi subspecies zooepidemicus, known for its exceptional substrate specificity. It cleaves IgG at a specific site in the hinge region, generating intact F(ab')₂ fragments and Fc fragments. Compared to IdeS, IdeZ offers enhanced activity against mouse IgG2a and IgG3, making it a more versatile tool for antibody characterization across species.

Product Advantages

High Specificity Specifically cleaves IgG; compatible with human IgG1/2/3/4, monkey, sheep, rabbit, humanized, and chimeric IgGs.
Broad Compatibility Enhanced activity against mouse IgG2a and IgG3 compared to IdeS, enabling a wider range of preclinical applications.
Superior Performance Ideal for characterizing therapeutic antibodies, Fc fusion proteins, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
High Purity & Stability Recombinant E. coli expression; >95% purity by SDS-PAGE; animal-free production.

Applications

  • Therapeutic Antibody Characterization
  • Fc Fusion Protein Analysis
  • ADC Characterization
  • Antibody Drug Development
