ATE00003

Rhinovirus 3C Protease

HRV 3C Protease | Recombinant, E. coli-expressed

Product Description

Rhinovirus 3C Protease, derived from human rhinovirus, specifically cleaves peptide bonds at the Gln-Gly site within the recognition sequence Leu-Glu-Val-Leu-Phe-Gln↓Gly-Pro (LEVLFQ↓GP). With high specificity and minimal nonspecific degradation, it is an efficient tool for removing fusion tags from recombinant proteins.

Product Advantages

High Specificity Precisely cleaves fusion proteins at the 3C site, avoiding nonspecific degradation.
Exceptional Bioactivity Reliable cleavage performance ensuring consistent experimental results.
Easy Removal N-terminal GST tag enables quick separation via glutathione affinity chromatography.
High Purity Purity >95% by SDS-PAGE; recombinant E. coli expression.

Applications

  • Fusion Tag Removal
  • Protein Sample Cleavage
  • Purification Workflow Optimization
